According to Statistics Canada’s Labour Force Survey, 4,259,000 jobs (seasonally adjusted) were held in Québec in November 2017, which represents 16,200 more jobs than the previous month. Also, compared to November of last year, this number represents an increase of 78,100 jobs.
The unemployment rate in Québec decreased by 0.7 percentage points, reaching an outstanding rate of 5.4 per cent in November 2017. This unemployment rate is also the lowest recorded since January 1976.
